Crypto points vs tokens: what is the difference?
Compare application points with blockchain tokens, learn what an airdrop does and does not establish, and understand Z9 Points.

Application points
Points are typically records maintained by an application under its own program rules. An operator may award them for activity, referrals, or approved promotions. The existence of a points balance does not establish a blockchain transfer right, an exchange price, or a legal right to cash.
Z9 Points are the application points used by Z9-MINE. Mining Earnings and Z9 Perks describe how authorized credits originate. Neither accounting category turns those records into transferable tokens.
Blockchain tokens
A blockchain token is represented on a blockchain according to that network's rules or a deployed contract. Users need to verify the network, official contract information where applicable, custody model, and transfer restrictions. An asset's existence on a network still does not guarantee safety, liquidity, a listing, or a stable value.
For example, an application database can show 100 points without any transaction on a blockchain. A token transfer normally produces a network record that can be checked using the correct chain's tools. These are different forms of recordkeeping and should not be described interchangeably.
An airdrop is a separate event
An airdrop is a distribution of blockchain assets under a project's announced conditions. A points program may or may not later be used in eligibility decisions. Unless the operator has confirmed the terms, do not assume a conversion rate, distribution date, or entitlement.
The materials reviewed for this beta do not establish a confirmed Z9 token airdrop or exchange listing. A reward catalog label is not independent evidence of a token distribution. Check the Z9 Coin status guide for the distinction and official documentation status.
A practical verification checklist
Identify who operates the application, read the current terms, distinguish a points balance from a blockchain address, and verify each listing claim with the named exchange. Never import a seed phrase into an unknown site to claim a reward. Consider local restrictions and avoid treating prospective rewards as reliable income.
If a claim cannot be supported by official documentation and relevant network evidence, treat it as unverified. This guide explains terminology; it does not predict token prices or advise purchasing an asset.
